device supports a host of audio formats--including MP1, MP2, MP3, WMA, ASF, and
WAV, along with WMA-DRM10--giving you plenty of options when working out at the
gym or commuting to work. Listeners will also dig the MP3 player's multiple
playback modes, which include repeat play (one, folder, and all tracks), single
folder play, random play, and intro play. And should you need to record an
interview or take a few voice notes, the MA201 handles that, too, with a
built-in microphone that records into WAV or ACT format.
Storage-wise, the unit offers 512 MB of flash memory, enough for up to eight
hours of MP3 music and 16 hours of WMA audio. The unit's seven-band equalizer,
meanwhile, lets you customize your audio options, with natural, rock, pop,
classic, soft, jazz, and digital bass boost settings. Add in an integrated FM
radio receiver and recorder--which let you catch up on all your favorite FM
programs--and you have everything you need for hours of on-the-go audio
entertainment. Other details include a two-color OLED display that supports ID3
tagging, multilingual menu options, a sync lyric function that displays the
lyrics to your favorite songs while you listen (requires .LRC files), a USB 2.0
interface, and a built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery. The MA201, which
runs for roughly seven hours per charge, sports a stylish blue housing that
measures 2.56 by 1.18 by 0.8 inches (W x H x D). It's also backed by a 90-day
